This is the look I get when something interests me. So...all the time. Usually, my husband will just nudge me and tell me to stop staring, but in a museum, you're basically paying to stare. Photos by Fiona Rafferty.
Some dude took the time to carve the Grand Canyon into the Encyclopedia Britannia. Impressive and, I'd think, great party conversation to have that on your resume.
The top row of this installation is the first 100 pgs of some obscure memoir with a few lines circled. The second row is using those lines to create an illustration. The third is a unique piece of art that piggybacks off the second row. Intense. Must have taken YEARS to create this. I bow down to obsession. It's scary, it's powerful, and it's hard to control, but BOOM...without it, life is vanilla.
Thank you Fiona for documenting mommy stepping away from writing to take a dive into life!
